Dr. Mary-Elizabeth Brown is an award-winning violinist, pedagogue, innovator and speaker.

Possessing an uncommon mix of “impeccable accuracy and rhythmic precision”(Le Devoir, Montreal) and an “ability to unfold bittersweet magic” (Rhein Main Presse, Germany), Canadian violinist Mary-Elizabeth Brown delights audiences around the globe as an invited soloist, concertmaster, teacher and speaker. She is the Founder and Director of the AVIVA Virtual Young Artists Program (est. 2012), has spoken at conferences from Google’s Women Techmakers to the American String Teacher’s Association, and is the driving force behind the low-cost 3D printed violins that made international news in 2023.
